WRAS Approvals – Primotek engaged to assist Overseas Companies
A core activity of our business model is to support clients by assisting with Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) applications.
The WRAS approves water fittings and materials which meet the minimum requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 in England and Wales, The Water Byelaws 2000 in Scotland and the Water Regulations in Northern Ireland. The approvals are granted by a panel of experts from the Water Supply Industry who meet regularly to review the fittings and the reports on any tests that have been undertaken.
Products granted WRAS Approved Product status have been assessed and approved by WRAS approved laboratories on behalf of the UK Water Industry, which allows products to be installed in domestic water systems for use on potable water applications.
Submitting an application for WRAS approval can be a time consuming and confusing process, particularly for manufacturers overseas whose first language is not English.
Primotek Associates Limited has assisted many overseas companies in obtaining WRAS approvals.
When Primotek undertakes this work, we manage the complete process on behalf of our client, assessing product designs and materials, completing all application forms, organising samples for testing, liaising with the test laboratory as required during the assessment process, and then handing over the certificate and the listing details in the Water Fittings and Materials Directory at the end of the process.
Let Primotek help you to achieve this approval and grow your sales in the UK water and HVAC industries.
