Increasing pressures in tall building boom – Primotek launches PN25 rated metering stations
Major cities throughout the world continue to enjoy a growth in tall buildings where land is at a premium. From Kuala Lumpur and Taipei to Shanghai and Dubai, tall buildings are appearing everywhere. Even in London the construction of tall buildings has been impressive from the early Nat West Tower and 1 Canada Place (Canary Wharf) to The Shard and Heron Tower.
In Hong Kong, the Centre for Asian Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CATBUH) was established in 1997 to assess the unique challenges caused by these designs.
To assist flow measurement in high pressure water distribution systems, Primotek Associates Limited has introduced a range of PN25 rated stainless steel metering stations. Available in sizes from DN50 to DN900 these products ideally compliment the PN16 range of Metering Stations launched 8 years ago.
